Our Year in Review
2023 was one of the busiest years in Arts Gowanus history! We facilitated the creation of 7 murals throughout the neighborhood, showcased 10 artists in art fairs, partnered with Brooklyn Pride for an outdoor banner exhibition, collaborated with local businesses on curations, raised over $30,000 for artists impacted by flooding, and continued membership in several Gowanus advocacy groups. We also held our largest Gowanus Open Studios to date, featuring over 500 neighborhood artists–we can’t wait to see what 2024 will bring!
