Curator-Led Art Tours GOS 2014!

Kick-off your visits to studios with a group Art Tour led by a NYC- based curator or volunteer!

See below for the full list of Art Tours offered.

An Art Tour will take you into several artist studios to discover how Gowanus artists contribute to the broad contemporary art scene.

Art Tours are an opportunity to hear the perspective of a professional from the art world, to talk to other interested art enthusiasts, to further define your own art interests, and to be introduced to a slice of what Gowanus artists have to offer.  Our Curator Tour Guides come from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives and neighborhoods. Choose the Art Tour that is most interesting to you – or the one that fits your schedule.

Tours are intended both for newcomers to art-enthusiasm and also for experienced art collectors.

Tickets are limited and all proceeds go to support Arts Gowanus, the not-for-profit arts organization that organizes Gowanus Open Studios every October. All tours are walking tours throughout the Gowanus neighborhood.
